?Responsible for developing commodity sourcing strategy for GM globally and managing supplier relationships
?Lead sourcing packages for variety of global programs, negotiations with suppliers, execute global/regional material budget, and interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders
?Manage all potential commercial issues to ensure supplier continuity
?Work is of a complex nature involving a considerable amount of initiative, analytical work and independent judgment on a high value commodity team

Preferred Experiences:
? Minimum 5-10 years automotive manufacturing OEM /suppliers related experience is preferred
? Purchasing and/or supplier quality experience are required
Required Skills:
? Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
? Strong negotiation skills and business acumen are required
? High level of analytical ability
? Able to read blueprints and to understand basic engineering documents
? Developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
