Job profile:
As Group Product Manager for Container, you will be our product expert and sales support within the container segment product range. You will manage the container product portfolio and turn market insight into development and maintenance of a competitive product range.

You will refer to the Infrastructure Product Portfolio team, a part of the Group Product & Portfolio Management.

Key responsibilities:
1) Product portfolio management for container
        Positioning of products in portfolio, alignment of offerings across regions and ensure competitiveness
        Monitor product range performance monthly
        Develop product strategy (long and short term)
        Manage product lifecycle of segment specific products in range including
        Adjustments based on e.g. Health and Safety, legislation
        Cost/optimization activities
        Phase in- and out of products
        Link market insight (markets, customers, competitors, Healthy & Safety and legislation) to product portfolio
2) Manage product launches incl. internal and external launch activities
3) Project management of front loading activities as well as new product development projects
4) Global sales support on product portfolio
5) Support Product & Portfolio related strategic projects

Qualifications and skills:
1) Degree in engineering or chemistry with a strong business acumen or business degree with very strong technical flair
2) 5+ years experienced in similar position, preferably in coatings industry or in relevant industry
3) International experience a must
4) Project Management experience
5) Product Management experience
6) Strong written and verbal communication skills
7) Strong drive
8) Strong stakeholder management skills
9) Ability to work conceptually and strategically
10) Ability to work very hands-on and drive projects and project teams
11) Analytical and fact based way of working
12) Understanding cultural differences
