ChinaBio® Group is a leading consulting and conference company focused on helping Western life science and healthcare companies achieve success in China. This position will also play a vital role in the success of our three highly-egarded annual conferences, including our international ChinaBio® Partnering Forum which attracted over 850 attendees this spring. We are presently looking for a professional and experienced Business Assistant to work with our management team. You will:

• Work in written and spoken English as well as Chinese
• Prepare business documents, letters, and emails
• Assist with event coordination, including conferences, seminars, etc.
• Assist with preparing marketing materials, website content, etc.
• Assist with office administration and finance functions
• Arrange travel, including airline, hotel, cars, etc.
• Act as receptionist, greeting guests and answering phones

You must have the following experience and capabilities to be hired:

• Be motivated, hard-working and quick-learning
• Speak and write both English and Mandarin fluently
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Understand the internet and use search functions in English and Chinese
• Be willing and able to work more than 40 hours per week
• Be outgoing and professional in demeanor and appearance
• Have a positive, “get-it-done” attitude and be a self-starter
• Live within 45 minutes of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park
• Have a college degree in English or Business

Desirable Preferable attributes:

• Experience working directly with Western managers
• Knowledge of website maintenance (e.g., HTML)
• Experience with graphics and document design (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
