Job Description
The Functional Analyst provide expertise in the IT systems used by KLG for its logistics operations.
He/she is an expert in both the Logistics systems and in the business processes in order to provide added value to the business via implementing system evolutions and performing system setup. Job tasks includes requirements gathering, writing specification documents, performing system setup and testing the system evolutions.
User satisfaction and operational efficiency are the two drivers of this job so the IT Functional Analyst will provide as well 1st and 2nd level support to the business users.

Location
Based in Shanghai City office
1 day per week in Lingang office

Skills
Education and work experience:
Information Technology degree or related experience.
2 to 5 years’ experience in IT applications (with minimum 2 years in the same position).
Experience in logistics IT applications is a MUST HAVE
Deep expertise in WMS and/or Forwarding system
Profile:
Analytical, problem-solving and self-learner
Possess a strong business and customer/user focus.
Hands-on
Other skills
Both Mandarin and English business proficiency is a must have.
Technical skills (SQL, basic coding)

Responsibilities
1/ Business analysis
Review business processes in order to gain a complete understanding of current procedures
Identify improvements in the business processes based on business needs and IT capacities
Documentation: document processes and write requirements documentation.

2/ System expertise
Develop a hands-on expertise of the logistics systems used by KLG, including system setup.
Write functional specifications for all new evolution.
Organise the test plan and run the test scenario for all new evolution.
Liaise with the system vendor for evolution management & support.
Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications.

3/ User support
Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications.
Provide 1st and 2nd level support to the business users.
Liaise with the system vendor for 3rd level support.
Make sure vendor’s SLA are respected.

Salary
RMB 8000 to RMB 13000 depending on experience and profile
