· Act as the first layer of defense for troubleshooting and problem solving

· Provide PM system and update PM check list

· Become thoroughly knowledgeable in the process and control systems for whole area of responsibility

· Analyze the performance of control systems and make recommendations

· Design, specify and buy new electrical / control equipment and equipment upgrades as required

· Efficiently supervise the installation of new equipment and equipment upgrades

· Review and update all drawings, machine specifications, and SOP’s (Standard Operation Procedure) associated with electrical equipment installations and upgrades

· Become thoroughly knowledgeable in process data acquisition in order to support the MES (management engineering system) and IT reporting system

· Support the production in the electrical and control area (troubleshooting)

· Emphasize safety in daily operation by strict adherence to applicable codes and standards

· Provide technical leadership, long-term planning for control systems

· Provide training for electricians to minimize equipment downtime

· Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance system for the production equipment (database and tracking system of all equipment which requires regular maintenance)

· Develop and maintain an instrument calibration system (database and tracking system of all instruments which requires regular calibration ) for the calibration lab

· Attend training related to the assigned area (electrical hardware, controls- hard and software)

· Visit control systems- and equipment exhibitions to keep informed on new technologies

· Provide power management for whole plant and keep good relationship with power supplier

· Continue to focus on energy saving and improve energy usage effect

· Update PM system when new equipment entry or equipment modification

· Lead and supervise electrician how to completed regular PM within limited time.

· Surprise utility contractor to completed PM on power distribution system and daily operation.

· Support to plant project if needed.

· Improve CMMS if needed.

· Follow up maintenance planning and scheduling and keep W/O completed on time.

· Communicate with all operator and production supervisor for any feed back.

· Spare parts local fabrication if possible

· Support to production 6S management
