Position & Essential Duties

Supervise and develop the production function so that all production activities meet the organisation's short and long-term business objectives, and are conducted in accordance with relevant health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Establish the yearly department production budget.

Monitor the production performances against standards and targets through appropriate Kpis.

Analyze production records to identify problems, prepare production reports and implement action plans to solve performances problems (cost, delivery, quality).

Plan, prioritize and manage production downtimes to minimize disruptions to production planning.

Develop, implement, and maintain procedures related to production activities to insure continuous improvement according to company's manufacturing strategy.

Take responsibilities in the preparation, the design and the implementation of investments projects.

Drive implementation of Husqvarna's program such HOS (based on lean principles) in own department.

Recruit, lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of supervisors, foremen and operators to ensure that production activities meet established targets and standards.

Preferred qualifications:

Academic background: University degree in Technical filed.

At least 5 years of experience in an international company as production manager of an injection plastic workshop.

Sound experience in plastic injection manufacturing and in manufacturing systems (an experience in lean implementation is a plus but not a must)

Strong people leadership.

A good level of English is required
