Position/Job Description:

The successful candidate will report to the R&D section manager and will support the introduction of new product platforms or significant product improvements into the Assembly Division or OEM suppliers and support the current product range. This will necessitate detailed communication with the relevant design authority and the other related functions.

The main responsibilities of the role include:-

• Product certification testing, verification and country approval according to the local and international regulation;
• Coordinate with third-party safety agent regarding the parts or product safety qualification and audit issue;
• Interfaces between local and global product safety team;
• Maintain the product certifications and update;
• Laboratory project testing;
• Regularly evaluate the product safety compliance according to the latest safety regulation and audit the product safety since design stage;
• Coordinate and audit the safety compliance of laboratory testing operation procedure and electricity safety of the testing facilities.

Preferred qualifications:

You will be qualified to bachelor degree level in Engineering

Familiar with planning and hand-on practice of testing and verification of outdoor garden tools;

More than 2 years experiences on safety handling of handheld products and are familiar with the safety application working procedure and paperwork handling in third-party safety agents.

Capable safety assessment, audit and reporting knowledge and experience.

General knowledge on mechanical and electric product design.

Good communication skills in English, both written & spoken are essential.

Proactive, good team player, open mind with learning ability;

Skills and Capabilities (soft skill):

The successful candidate must be highly motivated, able to work on their own initiative and should be able to demonstrate a background supporting the introduction of product developments or significant product improvements. You should possess good communication skills and be capable of dealing with internal & external contacts to drive projects to successful completion within tight project and cost.

Applicants will have both practical and analytical skills and should be able to interpret data in an objective manner.

Suitable candidates will have the organisational skills necessary for successful project testing management.

You will be creative and have a desire to test and verify new product designs to maintain Husqvarna's position as the leading manufacturer of outdoor products in the world.
