Position/Job Description:
The successful candidate will report to the Electrical Team Leader and will be involved in new product development, support the introduction of new product platforms or significant product improvements into the Assembly Division or OEM suppliers and support the current product range.
This will necessitate detailed communication with the relevant design authority and the assembly location.

The main responsibilities of the role include:
? Full 3D CAD support on specific project
? 2D Drawing work
? Follow-up prototype sample assembly/ performance testing
? Component qualification support
? Product/Component improvement support

Preferred qualifications:
? Be qualified to bachelor degree level in Mechanical Engineering.
? Experience of Catia (CAD) would be beneficial and training will be given to the successful candidate.
? Around 2 years experience within same field of power tools or garden tools would be preferred.
? Good potential ability on problem anticipation, analysis and resolve.
? Good communication skills in English, both written & spoken would be an advantage.
