职位描述：
Support the JV project team and interface with the Global Advanced Propulsion Center and GM China ME & Battery Teams

?Support the JV to execute the special welding equipment project, including design review, equipment pre-buyoff, onsite installation and commissioning support, and final buyoff.
?Work closely with equipment manufacturers, product engineering, and supplier quality and launch teams.
?Responsible for validation and execution of welding and joining processes for battery manufacturing.
?Provide technical support for training of plant personnel
?Work with product engineering to ensure manufacturability of joint design
?Develop and document joining specifications and standards for equipment, processes and product quality
?Responsible for continuous improvement projects to increase throughput and reduce cost
?Organize and coordinate root cause analysis and problem solving activities related to quality
?Responsible for future onsite technical support and maintenance support
?Responsible for the welding technology updates in future programs
?Drive company’s best practices / processes
?Develop and implement common ME processes and tooling throughout the vehicle development process in line with the company’s Global processes and bill of equipment
?Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology

Requirements:

Knowledge

Must have:

?Very familiar with all traditional welding technologies and have unique personal understanding on welding
?Production Launch Experience
?Strong Project Management Skills & Methodology competency

Prefer to have:
?Knowledge & experience on Aluminum welding technology
?Knowledge & experience on laser, ultrasonic welding technology
?Knowledge of GVDP and manufacturing deliverables


Skills/ Competencies

Must have:

?Fluent in English & Mandarin
?Strong presentation skills (management presentations, reports, negotiations)
?Computer skills including competency in PC based office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), AutoCAD, and any other relevant software

Prefer to have:

?Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in Joint Venture environments

Experience/Education

Must have:

?Bachelor degree in Welding, metallurgical, electrical or mechanical engineering
?5+ years in welding processes and assembly system
?Production Launch Experience

Prefer to have:
?8 + years in Body ME
?Received some training in Aluminum welding and laser welding area.
?Experience in Battery Industry a plus
