Key Responsibilities
? Drive and monitor US GAAP quarterly and annual tax accounting close process for the region
? Review in-region tax provision calculation for accuracy and completeness
? Provide tax accounting guidance for projects and transactions
? Provide guidance and education to local finance teams in order to facilitate process improvement and achieve accuracy for tax provision calculations
? Partner with other members of finance group as well as Global Tax Accounting team in Detroit to resolve tax accounting issues and drive leading practices
? Promptly respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholder
? Achieve deadlines set by leadership and proactively monitor and raise instances where deadlines cannot be met in a timely fashion.
? Assist with the creation, modification, and regular delivery of training program and content.
? Take ownership over any and all other issues that are collectively defined as tax accounting
? Fully integrate with the Corporate tax accounting function in Detroit

Education and/or Training:
Required
? Overall 3 + years of experience in tax
? tax accounting experience in large US MNC or Big 4
? 4/5 year university degree with a major in accounting
Preferred
? CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
? MST
