Responsible for development and implementation of AP specific integrated Marketing Communications programs in alignment with the global strategy and a specific focus on measurable business value.-
RESPONSIBILITIES
Organization and execution of AP region trade shows and events
Manage region specific Public Relations activities and supporting partners as well as acting as trade media point of contact for AP
Oversee the development of region specific collateral materials and sales tools whether print or digital.
Development and management of relevant digital assets focused on the region with input to broader global digital strategy. (SEO, SEM, analytics, localization, etc.)
Support social media strategies whether direct or via channel partners through viable content development
Act as regional MarCom liaison to Asia Pacific specific channel partners (Reps & Distribution)
General working knowledge of design tools and outputs. (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Support annual business cycles of strategy, budgeting and human resource planning.
Ability to scale capabilities for global impact over time.

INTERFACES WITH:
The Global MarCom team, regional Sales, Engineering and Product Segment Managers. The AP MarCom Manager will also interface regularly with external partners supporting regional initiatives.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Industry Experience: 5+ years leading multi-cultural marketing communications programs, preferably business to business programs.

Strong Technical Background: Strong interest in industrial system/sensor technology with the ability to understand a diverse and complex product line. Should be able to take technical details and convert into a meaningful customer message.

Successful Quantifiable Results: Proven examples of metrics driven results to achieve organizational goals. Ability to set both individual and team annual goals, as well as tracking ongoing progress to achieve by year end.

Communication: The ability to effectively communicate MarCom concepts and programs with regional stakeholders while capturing their needs and modifying accordingly.

Educational Credentials: The ideal candidate will possess a relevant Marketing, Communications or Engineering degree.

The candidate selected for this position will be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning. This person will also need to be a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment. He/she must be accustomed to working on multiple tasks in parallel. This professional must demonstrate the ability to gain credibility with team members and management specific to the value of MarCom programs and outcomes.

Possess an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with exceptional organization skills
Be comfortable on his/her feet making presentations
Experienced with MS Office suite
