Purpose:
The role of the HR Manager is to manager the delivery of HR services in line with the People Capital Strategy and Plan. A key component of the role is having an understanding of the people and change needs within the business and developing solutions that address the needs. The role holder is responsible for delivery of a core operational service to internal customers that is customer focussed and provides high quality advice in a responsive manner. Role holder will manage relationships with core external suppliers, e.g. legal service providers and ensure service is delivered to required levels. Role holder will be responsible for working with business managers to understand their HR requirements and deliver services that meet the business needs. He/She can be responsible for mentoring junior member(s) of the team and providing support and information as requested by the Manager. This is a key role that requires a responsive, strategic and client-facing individual.
Requirements:
- Above 10 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience of delivering the full range of HR service to clients
- Experience of working with a variety of senior stakeholders both within and outside the business and managing conflicting views on desired project outcomes
- Experience of implementing and operationalising the outputs of the projects
- Experience of presenting findings and recommendations to key/principal stakeholders.
- Experience of building and maintaining relationship with senior internal customers.
- Knowledge of market practice, applying best practice, supporting, enabling and leading the Company in the areas of role holders specialisms
