职位描述：
Main Purpose:
? Responsible for regional logistics with the aim of reaching operational excellence
? Single point of contact between corporate and region
? Ensure that standardized logistics processes are applied within the region
? Identify areas of improvement within logistics at ALPLA and continuously search for solutions and optimizations

Main Tasks
? Implement and train corporate standard logistics processes and know how in all below mentioned areas and assure their sustainable and compliant application within the region:
？ Order management
o Drive forward electronic data interchange processes for forecasts and orders from the customer to the ALPLAPROD system in collaboration with the local IT to ensure a proper order / planing process
？ Planning
o Short term: Assure consistent methodology in local planning (machine scheduling, optimization of production lots, production sequences)
o Mid term: Monthly rolling Master Production Schedule for region to identify temporary bottle necks/machinery demand and to organize material supply
o Long term: Forecast Management based on machine and equipment occupation in cooperation with divison or business units and sales to identify future bottle necks/machinery demand
？ Warehousing
o Usage of ALPLA standard processes for inventory control, inbound, outbound and internal transfer processes
o Warehouse layout optimization
o Warehouse flow optimization
o Purchase, usage and installation of warehousing equipment (racking systems and forklifts)
？ Transportation
o Periodical freight tenders (at least every 2nd year) together with purchasing
o Optimization of transport capacity utilization
o Reduction of transport losses due to express deliveries, not full return freights,…
？ Secondary packaging management
o Standardization and optimization of secondary packaging follow up (increasing cycle times and speed , continuous follow up of multiusage packaging material flow to and from the customer to the ALPLA plants)
o Usage of correct packaging concerning total cost of ownership (handling, storage, purchasing price, rotations, transport, quality)
? Identify areas of improvement within logistics at ALPLA and continuously search for solutions and optimizations in collaboration with Corporate Logistics and the Regional Management.
? Closely cooperate with various customers in regards to all logistics topics in the respective region especially concerning optimizing supply chain and communication with the customer
? Functional consultant during the recruitment process concerning local logistics positions
? Develop and implement strategies on how to achieve logistics targets in collaboration with corporate and regional management
? Set priorities for the implementation of logistics processes and tools
? Evaluate key performance indicators such as stock turnover, packaging costs, transport costs, external warehouse costs,…
? Control process quality of logistics standard processes (evaluated with audits)
? Special calculations and scenario analysis of critical incidents
? Hands on mentality in case of operational problems with high urgency
? Execute logistics optimization project in cooperation with local production facilities

Job Holder Profile
? Technical or economical university degree (preferably with specialization in logistics)
? 5 or more years of experience in a related field (preferably within the manufacturing industry)
? Leadership competences and experience proven track of leading people
? Sound understanding of financial correlations
? Ability to analyze trends and take countermeasures
? Advanced MS Excel skills
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as ability to motivate people
? Ability to explain technical details in a simple, understandable way
? High flexibility and willingness to travel (30-50%)
? Self-dependent and hands-on working style
