职位描述：
Has years of experience involved in at least a couple modern down processing plants (most likely actual manufacturing, not marketing)
Is in touch with all the latest information in the market (such as large new orders placed by our competitors; what suppliers are doing well and who is in trouble, etc.)
Has good connections with Chinese domestic market for natural fills because this has such impact on our pricing
Has good handle on price trends and can work on reliable price forecasts
Has connections with meat industry and large farms raising duck and geese
Knows or can find out how lower cost companies like Blue Ridge and Keeco are buying natural fills
Can work with Quality to see who is cheating on down standards
Can work with Quality to lower our testing costs but make sure we don’t have issues meeting down standards
Can assist with compliance of RDS (traceability)

Duties and Responsibilities
 Detailed bullet point of duties and responsibilities.
1. Travel to D&F areas, from raw material to D&F process factories.

2. Gather info of D&F industry (both civil and overseas)
1) Cost changes and trend (raw materials and finished D&F)
2) Government policy of environment protection and pollution control, and how these policies will affect the whole D&F industry, as well as to HSP D&F business
3) Bird flu alert
4) Industry mapping and layout change
5) Others related to D&F industry

3. Other duties as required.

Hollander Sleep Products is an international manufacturer of textile products selling to major retailers since 1953, currently operating plants in Georgia, California, Pennsylvania, Texas, Illinois and Toronto, Canada, as well as a joint venture in China. Hollander’s product lines include a broad range of bed pillows, comforters, and mattress foundations, which are filled with synthetic fibers as well as feathers and down. Products are manufactured under our own label, under retailer’s store brands as well as designer brands.
