Grow the liquid business in GCN to > CHF 5m and ensure profitability mid term. Develop and execute according strategy in alignment with liquid strategy of the RBL. Align individual initiatives with regional head and LBL where relevant. Work closely to align and train local sales organizations and effectively support existing account teams with liquid projects, while developing new accounts separately.
Manage liquid business line
1. Develop strategy and define required setup to grow business line towards profitability within 2 years
2. Work with liquid business development / sales team to develop and execute year-on-year growth plan
3. Manage cost and profitability to develop the business line into a positive contributor to the RBL profitability
Strategy development and implementation
1. Creation of value proposition for liquid product ranges in focus applications and segments
2. Train sales team in product knowledge and coaching communication of value proposition.
3. Analysis of liquid product ranges of GCN; establishment of pruned range and proposal for optimization.
4.
Management of market segments and KAs
1. Manage relationships with local unit heads/sales mgrs to execute product range business opportunities.
2. Effectively works with global technical support and regional laboratories to develop and document range.
3. Work with sourcing to manage supplier relationships for active substances
4. Analyze and propose optimal capacity usage for liquid products in GCN
Ensures continuous organizational development
1. Ensures market segment know-how transfer and knowledge building within the GCN.
2. Develops and maintains an effective organization through selection, training, and motivation of employees.
3. Ensures trained sales force prepared to identify and close add-on opportunities for additive sales.
