职位描述：
The Procurement Specialist will be accountable for generating ocean freight volumes for the entire region and is required to support ocean freight commercial drives across the region to develop new & existing business. The incumbent has to also develop and implement the procurement plan, focus on the carrier strategy & operational process/KPIs to achieve operation excellence

Specific Accountabilities:
? Procurement: Establish and manage regional carrier strategy and carrier relations
? Support and develops current and new Preferred Carrier portfolio. Identifies niche and local market carriers
? Ensure competitive buying rates & establish trade lane procurement and pricing
? Ensure and manage space allocation on assigned trade lanes
? Monitor carrier performance and allocations
? Responsible for ongoing carrier relations and supports issue resolution at regional level
? Support business through the RFQ process
? Contribute and support the development and implementation of uniform quality standards for the network
? Continuously monitor and control the target performance and acts in case of deviations
? Provide ocean/air/domestic focused sales support and guidance
? Support interaction with corporate and country PMO to identify key prospects
? Provide product expertise to help close large strategic accounts
? Attend key customer meetings
? Support New Regional Accounts Implementation (Onboarding)
? Support information flow to countries about developments and data of PMO
? Operational Processes: Supports most efficient establishment and execution of all regional and country operational processes based on the corporate SOPs and guidelines
? Support standardization of SOPs/regulatory compliance/processes/benchmark/audit
? Support the definition and execution of the Ocean Freight strategy on regional level
? Support to work out, implement and coordinate the strategy of regional product management ocean freight within the framework given by Global PM
? Support the definition and execution of the global preferred carrier strategy in/ex the APAC region


Skills Required:
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills
? Adept in leading a team and multi-tasking
? Good inter personal relations with a knack for building relationships
? Willing to travel
Experience & Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree
? Min 3 years in the Ocean Freight Industry, with at least 3 years in a 3PL in a similar leadership role
? Well experienced in carrier management
? Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
