2 Objectives
？ Perform translation, revision and/or proofreading of texts and documents, working in a team environment, according to the set requirements within the set deadlines and respecting the quality standards.
？ Meet productivity goals set for the Level.

3 Position Requirements
3.1 Educational background
                University degree in a linguistic or translation-related programme or equivalent qualification
3.2 Professional experience
？ At least 3 years of verified professional experience as a translator at a language service provider.
？ Good general PC skills and advanced user skills in CAT tools.
3.3 Required Skills
                Has distinguished mastery of the mother tongue
？ Has excellent command of the required source languages
？ Independent use of the required CAT tool(s) and reference materials, correct application of project style guides and specifications.
？ Has good general computer skills (MS Office, Outlook).
？ Constantly meets performance goals and constantly maintains or raises individual performance.
？ Is familiar with normal LSP production process.
？ Aims at specialising in at least one subject area in the AMPLEXOR production process.
？ Independent in performing assigned tasks, with minimum supervision.
？ Has developed task prioritising skills and grades tasks according to their importance that is derived from the project requirements.

4 Tasks and duties
4.1 Non-delegable tasks/duties
Translation and quality assurance*
？ Produces high-quality translations into the translator's native language or, in exceptional cases, into a second language from a variety of subject and specialist areas, using all tools required, for on-time delivery.
？ Follows quality assurance process for all translations using all quality assurance tools available.
？ Performs tasks according to the set quality and productivity criteria.
？ Provides feedback for colleagues and external resources.
？ Complies with the question/answer process.
？ Keeps written records of work performed.
？ Develops translation evaluation skills (i.e., ability to assess whether the delivered translations are ready for submission and, if not, what is lacking).
？ Performs internal and external quality assurance using all quality assurance tools available, following project guidelines, language rules, fluency of the text and comprehensibility of the meaning.
？ Shows constant progress.

Methodology
？ Independently conducts research incorporating all references and sources available for delivering quality translations/revisions.
？ Updates existing references (memories, dictionaries).

Professional Teamwork
？ Proactively and without hesitation communicates with the coordinators of the corresponding team.
？ Makes realistic estimates of own productivity and quality within the project.
？ Has developed own strengths and a specific role in the team specializing in a project or a specific subject area.
