SUMMARY
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and system, resolving highly complex technical issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Designs products and systems, which can be complex in nature necessitating the expert application of engineering knowledge.

Responsible for the preparation, review and approval of drawings, electrical schematics, cable list, cable routing, data sheet, elect connection & wiring diagram
Prepare RFQ for purchase of elect equipment.

Responsible for planning and self-monitoring daily engineering and design work assignments

Controls and monitors job costs and schedules to meet completion dates, customer technical specifications and internal technical specifications

Attend to factory acceptance test at Supplier’s premises on skid packages, Control Panel & Transformer/ Rectifier.

Provide engineering advice and support to engineers, Project Managers, and customer service personnel

Represents the company for outside customer discussions and technical reviews
Originates and applies new engineering methods and procedures to lower cost and improve quality

May provide technical support and proposal and job estimates to Sales
Prepare Manufacturing Data Reports

Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and AutoCad
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Ability to assist and work well with others
- Familiar with hazard area classification
- Knowledge of PLC programming is an added advantage

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical) with 5 years prior experience
