Be responsible for territory market assigned and report to the Sales Manager for Coatings market.
? To implement action plans guided by the Coatings market strategy
? Monitors and record the competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, technical trends, demands, frequency of visit & relationship to our customers, merchandising techniques, etc
? To achieve the annual sales target defined by the regional business team
? To capture unmet market needs and to provide ideas for innovations for sustainable business
? To establish and manage customer relationship especially with the direct customers for the Coatings business
? To continuously explore new business opportunities with existing key customers as well as with new customers
? To provide quality business forecast (annual Spring and monthly rolling forecast)
? To identify, develop and commercialize new business opportunities
? To enhance market intelligence by providing feedback about customers, competitions and market trend for China Coatings business
? To sell and promote the range of chemical products to the area(s) assigned and to achieve the targeted sales turnover
? To participate in other sales and marketing activities, such as trade exhibitions
? To compete with local/ MNC competitors and develop or maintain the business
Qualification and Experience
? 2-5 years’ experience in coating raw material market
? Familiar with the Latex coatings, Epoxy coatings and construction market will be a plus
? Degree in Chemistry or chemical engineering
? Communicates well in English written and oral English is ok
? Sales Professional skills: confidence, proactive, initiative, rapport building, customer relationship, negotiation skills, etc
