We are now looking for a Senior Merchandiser/Assistant Product Integrity Leader - Metal Furniture， based in Shanghai, Zhejiang or Jiangsu.
 
The role is to ensure and develop quality of products of assigned vendors, capable of partnering with vendor for problem solving and correct action plan implementation; control & monitor the factory performance
 
Job description
Ensure vendor compliance with RH technical, quality and environmental requirements.
Work closely with vendor and the product integrity leader in daily basis
 
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain strong working relationships with vendor and product integrity leader, as well as home office cross functional teams for any type of questions or issues
2. Production Integrity Audit: 80% inline and random final product inspections, concentration on finding and solving problems ahead of the time
3. Problem-solven oriented
- Inspect materials, specifications, color, measurements, construction, labels, function and overall quality
- Prepare, consolidate, update and file inspection reports or quality data summaries
- Provide technical advice to factories to solve production and quality problems
- Follow up with factories on corrective action implementation
3. Provide QA advice to factories before and during the manufacturing process
- Communicate RH quality requirements effectively to factories
- Anticipate quality issues that may arise in the manufacturing process and provide solution
 
Requirements:
? At least 8 years of metal furniture experience
? Rich knowledge of metal material for aluminum & stainless steel, molding/extruding process and metal finishing systems, packaging; knowledge to CAD would be a plus
? Familiar with US market, standard and compliance, legal requirement
? Good command of both spoken and written English
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, open minded
? Very flexible working time, travel and stationed at the factories is required
