Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities
? Collaborate with Corporate FP&A and Asia-Pacific Management teams to provide effective financial management of ongoing operations and projects within the region
? Provide analytical support for long range strategic planning in the region and ensure local plans are aligned to broader business initiatives and strategy
? Locally administer the annual budget process using corporate provided templates and in accordance with established timelines
? Ensure corporate team has full visibility into financial performance and plans/forecasts in the Asia region
? Ability to reconcile corporate standardized reporting with local management reporting generated in the region
? Consolidate and analyze financial and non-financial data from various internal sources (budgets, income statements, production systems, data warehouses, etc.), use financial modeling to evaluate impacts of various strategic and operational activities, and identify risks and opportunities in achieving plan
? Assist FP&A team in completing the monthly and quarterly financial reporting packets for the Board of Directors, Company Owners and Executive Leadership Team
? Track performance vs. budget, monitor variances and make recommendations to improve performance
? Support the broader organization on special projects, ad-hoc analyses and requests as needed
? Recommend and implement system/process improvements to enhance corporate finance function
? Limited travel may occasionally be required (<10%)
Competency Requirements
? Highly driven, self-motivated and willing to take initiative to “figure it out” and own a process through to completion
? Must be a team player capable of interacting with all levels of employees and senior management
? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey information concisely in writing and verbally at an Executive level
? Very detail and process oriented, with ability to translate data and analysis into coherent information linked to the business “big picture”
? Ability to understand and frame complex issues in a consolidated and straightforward manner
? Ability to define problems, collect data from multiple sources, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
? Works independently, effectively managing tasks and tight deadlines with minimal supervision
? Excellent computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
? BA in Finance/Accounting or Business – MBA a plus
? Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar corporate budgeting and/or analysis role
? Experience leading the budgeting process for a company with multiple operating entities and currencies
