Summary of Position:

As the incensed requirement of internal applications such as PIMS, SMS, E-cutting etc. for our domain application, data, infrastructure, we are searching for an application engineer who shall manage current development, test, design, code review of applications, which developed by vendor and internal departments. The focus of this position is first on technology and later on planning. We are looking for hands on experience.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

? Conduct or engage internal application development and acceptance based on business and IT perspective:
– Conduct code review to ensure the quality of the software and supportability.
– Review development function specification and plan.
– Estimate application non-functional design, database, IT architecture, etc.
– Source code, license and other IT asset management.

? Lead and continue improve the practices and processes of application designs, development and unit testing based on standards and industry best practices and methodologies to make good deliverables on time with high quality;
– Identify application risk and provide competitive advantage
– Handling application life cycle ensure their continuous development and extension.
– Monitoring SIT/ UAT, deployment process of new development and CR.

? Develop internal application, report and tools as necessary.
– Setup server environment and platform of applications.
– Hands-on coding and test.
– Preparing user manual and training users.

? Support application optimization, maintenance and migration.
– Support optimize performance of exist application and database.
– Software/Hardware capacity assessment.
– Setup application running hardware, middleware as necessary.

Candidate Qualifications:

The IT development lead will be an overall contributor to the Packard E/EA application and middleware. She/he will be able to plan, document, identify risk and communicate effectively. The correct candidate should have high motivation and quick response for assigned tasks.

The successful candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

? 2~3 years’ experience or software development, IT services or projects
? Strong grasp of IT systems, ideally with experience in Manufacturing Information Systems development, implementation and maintenance.
? Knowledge of typical systems and processes utilized in cross function organizations.
? Strong knowledge and expertise with J2EE, C# .NET development is required, Delphi language is preferred.
? Database knowledge with MS-SQL Server, Oracle is required, DBA experience is preferred.
? Understanding of complex application, program architecture and interface.
? Good written and oral communication skills in local language[s] and English
? Good interpersonal skills.
? Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
? Exceptionally self-motivated and directed and able to work in a geographically dispersed team.
? Good analytical, evaluating and problem-solving abilities.
? Service orientation.
? Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


Educational Requirements:

? B.S. or B.A. degree in the field of computer science, business administration, engineering, or related discipline. Advanced degree is a plus.
