ABOUT THE JOB
The Solution & Project Architect is responsible for the creation and implementation of Solution High level design as a subset of the portfolio investment IT Architecture blueprint and secures that the architecture description of the application, infrastructure, concepts, principles and requirements are considered in the solution design. Support the business development of IKEA. Through innovation capabilities introduce change in order to create value for IKEA and stakeholders. Contribute to the exploration and prospecting to improve in areas of services, structure, routines and methods, as well as changes to operational and business models. Catalyse change from small incremental improvements to large fundamental, i.e. radical or disruptive innovation. Supporting the continuous improvement and introduce new ways of working, developing the IKEA Business Solutions common ways of working
YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
? Is responsible for the Solution High level design in the context of one or more portfolio investments or sub architecture areas.
? Is responsible for the creation of the High level design of the implementation of a business transformation with an IT component.
? Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document the requirements to create and shape ideas into current state, future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of business solutions (including requirements towards Configuration management and Service validation & Test)
? Leads solution activities within the domain, establish solution/infrastructure design in accordance to the architecture and provide technology advice.
? Provide expertise for roadmaps, pre-studies and design workshops within project/programmes.
? Steers the project to follow decided architecture standards and ensure fulfillment of the functional and non-functional requirements in the solution.
? Govern that the design of the systems/integration/infrastructure conforms to the solution architecture and is efficient, meet business requirements and based on a holistic architecture .
? Responsible for securing the Area architecture vision and goals in the solution architecture and the system development process.
? Perform solution, system and infrastructure design reviews to support running business, provide guidance towards service improvements and service transition.
? To run, plan, execute or coach and follow-up innovation exploration and prospecting to search for new opportunities, or strengthening of existing operations and business with what can be done now and/or next.
? To establish relationships with external stakeholders and potential partners within the academia, government, industry and other relevant organizations, to expose IKEA stakeholder to new ideas.
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
? In depth knowledge within the assigned technical or business area
? Good knowledge about the significant functional and non-functional requirements for the area
? General knowledge about the applicable standard IT domain and market.
? Experience from implementation/realization of IT products and services (incl project mgt and product and service life cycle mgt).
? Good knowledge about the role of architecture and being able to identify areas for architecture focus in a project/line tasks.
? Good knowledge of architecture & solution frameworks and the usage of architecture methods and modelling techniques.
? For standard system, good knowledge about the standard functionality and our own implementation.
? For internal only, for IKEA build system, In depth knowledge about the system solution and the implemented functionality.
? Good communication skills in written/spoken English
? Good knowledge about system integration
? High understanding of the innovation process and the relationship between the operational requirements of the division, corporate strategy and customer needs (internal )High knowledge of the IKEA Business Model
? High knowledge of Innovation Management
? High knowledge of Project Management
? Basic knowledge of business process development
? Either of Big data/ BI , mobile technology , cloud is a plus
