This Senior Financial Analyst position is a collaborative member of the finance team and reports directly to the Finance Director of WMF China. This position serves as an analytical expert, providing focused modeling and analysis to support decisions on corporate strategy and financial decisions based on competitive analysis, shareholder value creation and the external perspective.

In this role you will:
? Build financial models to consolidate, interpret, and analyze WMF Consumer Goods’s Forecast, Annual Financial Plan (AFP) and Strategic Business Financial Plan (SBP). Ensure the financials are developed with sound and solid assumptions.
? Partner with business, finance team, Germany Headquarter finance team to ensure timely and effective delivery of financial forecast and plans.
? Provide insightful analysis on an on-going and ad-hoc basis that delivers comprehensive understanding of stores, channel, segment and product categories’ performance.
? Prepare dashboard for measuring the financial and operating performance of WMF Consumer Goods.
? Prepare senior management presentations.
Education: MBA or BS in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA is a plus.
 
Experience: 5+ years of experience with background in financial planning and analysis. Analytical expert with exceptional financial modeling skills and experience working with finance reporting applications.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
? Financial, analytical and technical skills:
o Exceptional Excel financial modeling skills – speed and accuracy are essential. Prior experience building financial models that integrate income statement, balance sheet and cash flow is a plus.
o Solid experience retrieving data from financial applications
o Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
o Able to interpret and analyze business units results for actuals, forecast, strategic business plan and annual business plan.
o Solid experience in designing and building PowerPoint presentation
o Strong experience in consumer goods and retail industries preferred
? Communication and interpersonal skills:
o Ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear, distilled manner.
o Ability to build solid relationships and influence cross-functional partners.
? Flexibility and poise:
o Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
