Senior Customer Facing Software Engineer – Service Virtualization
Job Description
- Service Virtualization by MicroFocus (former Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Software) ADM Unit is an application and data simulation software that enables development and testing team to simulate a service behavior/assets without impacting delivery regardless of access to product system.
- We’re building a strong R&D team at Shanghai site which will be responsible for CFRD (Customer Facing R&D) tasks as well as evolving the product functionality and roadmap.
- The candidate should work closely with worldwide presales teams, account managers and partners to support MicroFocus Service Virtualization POC, meanwhile with support team to handle existing customer escalations, collect customer feedback to enrich product backlog.
- The candidate should be responsible for presenting the product and delivering product trainings in front of global presales team, support team and customers.
- The candidate should work with cross-functional team to successfully deliver on system design and development for the needed business requirement, and develop the prototype with the most appropriate framework and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above of computer science or equivalent major.
- Strong communication skills, sense of business, like working directly with customers.
- Proficient English speaking and written skills, good at cross-site collaboration.
- Work under pressure, move fast and be dynamic.
- More than 5 years’ .NET project experience, with deep understanding of C# and .Net framework, solid skills of WPF/Winform and WCF, better to know ASP.NET MVC.
- Keen on networking and protocols, knowledge of HTTP(s), MQ, JDBC and JMS is a strong plus.
- Keen on security (SSL, WS-Security, SSO, JWT etc.)
- Experience with MSSQL and Oracle is a strong plus.
- JAVA/J2EE skill is a strong plus.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum and related tools, familiar with requirement/defect tracking systems.
