Brief Description:
The Industrial Designer and Marketing Specialist has the primary responsibility to lead the industrial design for the development of future aviation products, to support both AVIAGE SYSTEMS internal and external strategic marketing related jobs, including but not limited to: developing and maintaining consistent product designs, building graphics for commercial proposals, designing digital communication materials design and supporting industry tradeshow booth designs. Also, the role includes developing materials to meet AVIAGE Branding requirements.
Essential responsibilities:
? Industrial designer for the Strategy and Growth and Product Management teams, specializing in human-machine interface, flight deck design and user interface design;
? Design support to commercial team for proposals to customers;
? Updated branding key visuals within company requirements and guidelines;
? Create physical prototypes of the designs and present them to internal and external clients;
? Work with engineers, production experts and marketing team to validate the feasibility of their designs;
? Support Communication Manager to develop core message and branding stories in different external communication tools:
o Draft & design external collaterals/adv.
o Presentation template & artwork development
o External website design & updates
o Social media promotion design support
? Work closely with internal functions to fulfill internal communication needs
o Newsletter template design
o Video editing for internal communication
Qualifications Required:
? Graphic artist/Industrial Design background with 3-5 year experiences in an industrial designer role.
? Qualified in an computer modeling tool, e.g. 3D CAD tools;
? Past experience with industry standard graphic design, layout and presentations tools, such as Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Macromedia and/or similar industry products;
? Strong communication skills to present designs to company stakeholders;

Desired Characteristics:
o Bachelor’s degree in ergonomic, human factors and/or graphic artist, design is preferred
o Experience in a marketing or communications related role;
o Aptitude for creative thinking and content creating;
o Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work; and
o Strong oral & written communication skills in both EN & CH.
