Role Summary
Our company is currently looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join our Accessories Department mainly for accessories and fabric development and production follow up.
He/she will report directly to Accessories Purchasing Manager.
Basic Knowledge
-Basic technical knowledge on fabric and accessories
-Resources of fabric mills and accessory factories who deal with high-end ladies fashion products
-Sense of understanding and catching new trends for ladies wear
-Ability to do quality control and make judgement with professional knowledge will be a plus
Essential Responsibilities
-Work independently with customers for both development and production of accessories and fabric
-Attend fairs, do market research and collect new trend and sample collections
-Maintain effective working relationship with both customers and suppliers
-Evaluate suppliers’ performance to update the supplier matrix according to the business needs
-Team work with other colleagues of Accessories Department for their products' technical / quality issues when needed
Qualifications/Requirements
-Bachelor Degree of textile or related major
-Minimum 5 years related experience
-Sufficient oral and writing English
Desired Characteristics
-Strong trouble-shooting capabilities, can work under pressure and frequent travels
-Good team-player with high flexibility and efficiency, open-minded, good communication skills
