1. Expert hands-on testing skills
2. Experience with testing public-facing responsive web applications (mobile and desktop) and mobile apps (iOS / Android)
3. Strong understanding of manual test execution, writing test cases, managing regression testing
4. Able to lead a small team of QA Engineers (within the larger overall QA team) by example as a hands on tester, prioritise and manage the team's work and mentor/train their team in QA best practices
5. Must be willing to take ownership on ensuring a high quality end-to-end product
6. Experience with any of the following not required but beneficial:
- Web API / Web Service Testing (REST/JSON)
- Automated Testing - using scripts to automate testing
- Javascript test frameworks (e.g. Mocha, Jasmine etc)
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (automated testing on build / deployment)
- Load / Performance Testing (e.g. jMeter)
- Mobile UI automation testing (e.g. Appium, Espresso, XCTest, etc)
- Web UI automation testing (e.g. Selenium, Protractor, etc)
- Security Testing
- Experience with relational databases & writing SQL (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MS SQL etc)
7. Experience with ecommerce beneficial
8. Strong communications skills, written and verbal, in Mandarin and English
