Reporting to: Far East Production Manager – Development Manager
Related functions Far East Quality Manager

Functions objectives
Monitor and guide all the start up of new productions in our factories for all the paper products in order to make sure that the production lines are well organized accordingly to our company quality, standards and delivery time. The person in charge of this position will receive the sample approved from the customer with artwork from our project managers and will industrialize it in mass production.


Main tasks and duties:

Before mass production start:
- Checking the artwork and sample developed from our project manager.
- Have meetings with the project managers in order to understand customer standards and requests.
- Verify with the project managers the raw materials and accessories for mass production.
- Coordinate with the production supervisors in order to understand the production schedule in the factory and the timing for the delivery of this order.
- Have a meeting with the factory in order to let them understand all the details of this project.

After mass production start:
- Verify all raw materials and component arrived to the factory and the quality is the same as the one approved.
- Analyze each step of the production line in the factory.
- Check the industrialization of the product in the production line, speak with the factory whenever is necessary to improve any kind of aspect.
- Follow up the mass production in the factory with the goal to ensure the highest quality.
- Fill the production report after every visit in order to let the far east production manager understand the status of the order with a detailed analyze of the problems found/improvements requested/output.
- Monitor On Time Delivery.
- If no QC available, help the quality team with In Line Inspections to the suppliers and inform the QC coordinator.

Competences required
- At least 5 years of experience on production start up and industrialization of paper items for factories working with luxury brands.
- Understanding in production processes in order to understand key/critical processes and improve them.
- General knowledge in quality assurance tools and standards is appreciated.
- Well-organized and responsible.
- Detail oriented.
- Able to work under pressure with respect of strong time schedule.
- The language environment is English. The fluent English is necessary.
- Availability to travel to our supplier factories on a daily base.
