Reports to Technical Manager
Location: Shanghai, China
Purpose of the job： Cater for the quick development of LPG tank storage business in China Market
Key Accountabilities：
1.Establish a set of repeatable LPG (cryogenic) tank storage feed package with the assistance of design institute, and maintain updating as per users’ feedback.
2.Perform the feed design for LPG (cryogenic) tank storage project and provide quotation/schedule for LPG related project inquiries.
3.Perform process definition, conceptual option, P&ID/layout design, cost estimate, schedule, bid evaluation of chemical/oil storage project.
4.Coordinate, monitor & control independently on work of design institute for the preparation of process/piping/mechanical design deliverables including drawings, specifications, calculations, detail drawings, schedules and cost estimate on basic design to enable project activities to take place smoothly
5.Responsible for project review/inspection and provide supports to construction site for installation, commissioning and start-up.
6.Perform Vendor shop audits and visits
7.Support the Project / Engineering Manager with regard to Process/Piping/ Mechanical engineering issues.
8.Represent the interests by Project OWNER and Internal Customer in the project towards the local design institute, vendors, supervision companies, construction companies, etc.
9.Establish local know-how and market contacts in the relevant discipline and share with other / new project teams in the region or Vopak Global
10.Support the global team with regard to project execution governance, design clarification, data collection, training conduction, etc.

Functional requirements：
Education and Experience
？ Minimum 10 years Process & Piping engineering experience in LPG/LNG cryogenic projects, especially on tank terminal projects.
？ Minimum 5 years exposure to international projects.
？ Master of process simulation software, e.g. Aspen Plus, Pro II, Hysis.
？ Good knowledge of equipment (such as tanks, pumps, loading arms and compressors) is a plus.
？ Discipline related cost estimation ability
？ Good understanding of international and local codes & practice (GP), standards, regulations
？ Good verbal and written communication skill in English is a must.
？ Open to business trip
