MISSION

In this job, applicant should be responsible for conducting sourcing activities for assigned commodities to assemble screw compressor from local suppliers, supporting purchasing team to obtain business targets of safety, quality, delivery and cost effectiveness.

Applicant would also lead a team of purchasers to get purchasing strategies executed and projects implemented.

Applicant should be focusing on & in charge of team purchasing activities to ensure the outcome of sourcing activities as well as engineering/product development projects.

You will report to the Purchasing Manager of Bolaite.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This includes:

1. Responsible for purchasing activities of assigned commodities.

2. Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety

3. Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships

4. Definition and implementation of commodity strategies for responsible commodities to ensure sustainable quality, deliveries and cost from suppliers.

5. Implementing supplier qualification procedures to ensure right suppliers are being selected.

6. Supporting purchasing manager on implementing purchasing strategies and obtaining purchasing targets

7. Market survey of raw materials to establish right judgment of cost

8. Leading purchasers for daily purchasing activities to improve supply base continuously

9. Coaching & developing purchasers to perform resourcing, qualification, negotiation & contracting.

1. Monitoring commodities handled by purchasers within team

2. Track Purchasing activity and measurements

3. Working with supply chain engineer on implementation of supplier optimization

4. Working with project engineers for divisional project following up with purchasers & accomplishment

5. Coordinating with engineering for sourcing activities on product and project based requirements

6. Organize purchasing project meetings and following-up of purchasing KPIs in terms of speed, attendance and effectiveness

7. Organization and hiring of resources to support the Bolaite strategy in terms of growth, cost and reliability.

Experience requirements

1. Minimum 3 years experiences of purchasing & sourcing in machinery industry, preferably 2 years team leader role in multinational production enterprise.

2. Experience & knowledge of air compressor industry is preferred

3. Experience in supplier negotiation and project management is a must.

4. Familiar with material market & components technologies.

Knowledge / Educational requirements

1. University degree or above, major in mechanical engineering or related area.

2. Good command of English and Mandarin

3. Skills of Excel & Powerpoints is needed.
