The Position

Reporting to the Head of Legal Department of our Headquarter in Germany, Edscha Holding GmbH, you will work as part of a cross-functional team and will provide practical, business oriented legal support and advice on a variety of matters to multiple internal business units and Edscha legal entities within China.

Job Description:
We are looking for an In-House Counsel to provide legal support and advice to Asian Edscha group companies in (i) daily operational business, (ii) corporate matters for the Asian Edscha group companies, as well as (iii) extraordinary projects (i.e. M&A transactions), including :

? Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts (such as commercial, customer’s and supplier’s agreements, technical agreements, general terms and condition, license and leasing agreements)
? Conduction of general legal analyses considering applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies,
? Taking care of and being responsible for corporate matters of the Chinese Edscha group companies (corporate resolutions, corporate ledgers…)
? Coordination of the topics with the legal department of Headquarter in Germany
? Participation in negotiations i.a. with customers and suppliers
? Coordination of and cooperation with external lawyers
? Cost controlling of external legal costs
? Other relevant legal tasks assigned

？ Candidate Profile
? Master of Laws (LLM) Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience gained in a well-reputed law firm or in-house in a multinational company
? Overall broad legal knowledge of commercial and corporate law
? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as understanding of complex information and requirements Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail, effectively multitask and deadlines
? Additional skills in compliance, data privacy and IP rights as well as economic skills are preferable
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Mandarin and English) as well as effective presentation and listening communications skills
? Basic knowledge of German or Spanish language would be recognized as a further asset
? Ability to explain complex legal terms in business terms
? High level of integrity and able to handle confidential issues and data with discretion
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with the use of new technologies
? Ability to travel within China and abroad
? Previous experience working in the automotive / manufacturing sector is an further asset but not necessarily required 举报 分享
