职位描述：
REPORT TO:Quality Supervisor
LOCATION: Gerber Scientific (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide quality engineering support for systems, assemblies, and components from development through production. This support would include but not limited to the following; assessing manufacturability, creating Inspection Method Specifications (IMS), designing and or selecting tools, gages, test fixtures, employing lean manufacturing tools, and etc..
· Provide effective quality engineering support to suppliers producing products and or parts for Gerber equipment including but not limited to source inspection.
· Ensure products produced fromChinabased manufacturers for Gerber meet company's expectations for quality, reliability, delivery.
· Develop a strong working relationship with internal and external customers to effectively provide technical services.
· Quality support of all aspects of the Close Loop Quality Management System (CLQMS), Quality Management System (QMS), Material Review Board (MRB), Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
· Work with supplier on complete product assembly and inspection based on drawings and specifications for current product and new developed product.
· Provide regular and special reports to communicate findings, progress, actions, and etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience having a quality engineering focus of complex manufactured products.
· Working knowledge of quality tools including but not limited to Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gage R&R), data analysis, lean manufacturing, and etc.
· Sound experience and knowledge of overall production process, knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 is advantage
