Job Summary:
? Assist the Senior Merchandiser / Merchandiser in all aspects during product development, sourcing, order fulfilment and on time delivery processes
? Provide professional services to all business partners
? Ensure smooth cooperation and close communication within teams and departments
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Product development – assist the supervisor in related tasks; handle project work on supplier and article sourcing; support Own Brand Management and Quality Management during the own brand development and article testing stage
? Article management – communicate closely with suppliers and other business partners to update article management database; carry out and monitor data update in the article management database
? Offer management – create offer sheets and offer lists; showroom management; input all received orders
? Buying trips – assist the supervisor in planning and arrangement of business trips; may join buying trips, for article development and order placement with buyers
? Supplier management – assist the supervisor in negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers; monitor the performance of the suppliers in terms of communication and reliability; evaluate suppliers and maintain a reliable supplier portfolio
? Order completion – assist supervisor in receipt and acknowledgement of orders; order type definitions; execute hedging process; finalize order input and ensure that suppliers have completed the required processes
? Own brand & testing – assist the supervisor in initiating own brand and testing process when required; assist Own Brand Management and Quality Management in development of artworks and requirement profiles; assist Quality Management during the testing phase; monitor timeframes and ensure artwork and testing are finished within the planned schedule
? Order amendment – assist supervisor in coordination of order amendments; execute order amendments
? Production plans – assist the supervisor in defining the date until production plan data being inputted into the system; monitor production status and ensure the suppliers input the required data on time; handle project work on developing and monitoring production plans
? In line inspections – assist supervisor in the planning and coordination of inline inspection; execute inline inspections, and coordinate improvements of mass production; ensure inline inspection reports are available for final pre-shipment inspection
? Shipment – monitor production / shipment status of all orders continuously; coordinate on-time submission of vessel booking with suppliers; coordinate inspection and vessel booking with internal and external parties
? Support a harmonized and cooperative working relationship within the team
? Handle other projects / jobs as assigned by the supervisor 举报 分享
