Objective of Job
In charge of Engineering Service Category purchasing activities of APAC region and being fully accountable for purchasing projects in terms of stakeholder/end user management, supplier selection, contract setup and spending & saving calculation.

Brief Task Description
1. Build up working relationships with APAC ( mainly China and India) PD and Powertrain teams as key stakeholders to understand business and sourcing needs.
2. Support with purchasing process and apply sourcing strategies locally, regionally and/or globally for all purchasing request to drive financial targets (savings, cost avoidance, value creations) and achieve service level (quality) agreement.
3. Develop engineering service supplier eco-system with pricing mechanism analysis, strategic cost management, industrial service level (quality) & price benchmark, continuous supplier development for various services commodities.
4. Secure all contractual terms and clauses are with corporate benefit (standard template) and negotiate for any exceptions.
5. Perform purchasing due diligences for working documents management i.e. RFI/RFP files, vendor quotations, bidding records, supplier performance appraisals, Purchasing Orders etc.

Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor degree or above, with major in science and engineering;

Experience:
* 7 – 10 years working experience with Automobile engineering or purchasing function.

Skills & Competence:
1. Strong communication skills with both Chinese and English
2. Industrial knowledge of automobile engineering service
3. Strong analytical skills and good with office tools like Excel, Power Point, etc …
