? Coordinates production activities with support functions such as maintenance, materials, manufacturing engineering, quality, safety etc.
? Responsible for managing scrap, hourly production rate to standard, employee turnover rate, efficiency, downtime and overtime.
? Directs activities through manufacturing leadership to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
? Responsible for developing the leadership skills of the Group Leaders through coaching, training, motivating and counseling.
? Assists in achieving manufacturing business objectives and serves as the point person for driving Lean initiatives such as pull, 5S, 7 kinds of waste, etc.
? Responsible for addressing and resolving employee, process, and quality issues in a timely manner.
? Ensures open lines of communication among shifts, with the Production Manager and all appropriate support personnel.
? Responsible for meeting Operational Excellence goals and achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction.
? Complies with and supports the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
? Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of a safe working environment.
