职位描述：
Routine Daily Tasks:
1. Issues and returns
2. Assist students with searching for books
3. Shelve returned books throughout day (morning and after school)
4. Joint supervision of students at recess times
5. Maintain newspapers and magazines in the library
6. Keep library in good order
？ check books are in correct order on shelves
？ pencils sharpened and tables tidy
？ dust shelves (weekly)
7. Turn off Mac student terminals before leaving at end of day

Maintenance of Library Database:
1. Assist with keeping student records up to date (new and transfer students)
2. Lost books - prepare letters, collect money, update database
3. Assist with preparation of student library cards and shelf marker

Special Events:
1. Assist with the events in Book Week
2. Assist librarian in preparation for library promotional events

Other Tasks:
1. Wall displays, shelf labels, etc – maintain in good order
2. Redistribution of textbooks (remove old labels, re-label for new classes)
3. Assist librarian with inventory of all recourses during summer holiday
4. Assist with distribution of Book Club

Ongoing Tasks (in between daily tasks):
1. Stamping, labelling, covering of new books and readers
