1.POSITION PURPOSE
Briefly summarise the position's purpose or role
-To set up Cabot engineering design standard and to be optimise continuously;
-To provide technical support for Cabot globally in reinforcement segment business unit

2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

-Major Accountability and % of Total Job: 40 %
Engineering design in mechanical discipline
Actions
1. Familiar with mechanical equipment in Cabot operation plant, to custodial Cabot equipment design standards
2. Work with design institute to provide Cabot standard drawings for plant replacement or expansion project
3. Good communication with plant operation, to understand what’s their expectation, what’s their needs. Optimise or retrofit Cabot mechanical equipment design
4. Design document control and management

-Major Accountability and % of Total Job: 60 %
Technical support and mechanical equipment global sourcing support
Actions
1. Plant operation mechanical equipment trouble shooting, provide problem solving scenarios and support document
2. Plant standard equipment purchase support, define specification and scope
3. Global sourcing supply quality control and expediter
