REPORTS TO: Project Lead, Snr Business Analyst
SUPERVISES:
CONTACTS: All Levels and Functions of Finance (Corporate, Regional and Entities), GIS, RIT
PRIMARY PURPOSE: ？ The Business Specialist in FI plays a key role in providing application and end user support in the SAP functional space.
？ He/she is accountable for ensuring that the overall functional, technical design and realization meets business requirements that conforms to Molex financial and accounting processes, while optimizing productivity and minimizes long-term cost of ownership.
？ As a specialist, he/she is not only a technical expert of FI, he/she will translate business needs, functional work processes into requirements and solutions. He/she is able to interact with a global team of functional leaders and technical experts so as achieve tight integration of various SAP technologies.
？ He/she will actively participate in the testing and validation to ensure smooth delivery and implementation
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. First level support for SAP system issues. Liaise with Molex Global Information Systems (GIS) and various cross functional teams for resolution.
2. Participate and review business process requirements for new development prior to submission to global development team for approval. Develop test plan and execute validation prior to releasing of new development or fixes
3. Evaluate entities’ business flow and provide counsel and recommendation to entities on improving system processes and work procedures through the use of SAP and required IT technology.
4. Focal point for review/reject of authorization requests from entities in his/her functional space.
5. Conduct system training for entities’ ITCs/ key users
6. To be responsible for new functionality rollout and system upgrades
7. Implementation of SAP for new entities
SCOPE: Support Finance business systems to smooth the FI business operation for APS entities (20+)
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent
PREFERRED: SAP FI configuration knowledge or SAP related certification
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: 6 years working experiences in accounting environment and with 3 years in SAP FI environment.
PREFERRED: Previous working experience for multi-national company
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED: ? Proven knowledge of business process in SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, Treasury etc.).
? Good communication in English and Chinese
? Hands-on experience in FI with at least 3 cycles of SAP upgrades/implementation
? With positive attitude, a team player
? Strong initiative and a proactive mindset
? Highly adaptable and a fast learner
? Work independently and resolve issues with logic mindset
? High degree of integrity, both personally and professionally
? Ability and willingness to travel
PREFERRED: ? Knowledge/Experience in SAP CO, Fixed Asset and MM would be an added advantage
? Live close to Wai Gao-Qiao Area or is convenient to take the shuttle bus
