Position Objective

This person is an important member of Asia Quality team. He/she will be responsible for consolidating, understanding and providing consultancy on country standards of products of all categories and countries across the region.

Role and Responsibilities

1 Work closely with country/plant QA to get input and timely updates of country standards cover the products in all category

2 Collect country standards of different products and consolidate for region management. The products include both internally manufactured and external OEM/ODM sourced, such as VC, fittings, tub, shower enclosure, furniture, e-bidet, shower toilet, stainless sink, and kitchen cabinet.

3 Keep close government relationships to ensure the correct understanding and compliance in country standards and regulations.

4 Share the knowledge of country standards with R&D team to ensure product compliance with different standards from design.

5 Work closely with Legal team to ensure the compliance of country standards and regulations on our products. Consolidate the joined feedbacks to share with R&D and Category teams on the designs of user manuals, labels, packing materials, etc.

6 Study and analyze the country standards and facilitate the implementation during manufacturing to ensure compliance.

7 Provide consultancy on country standards to region teams for various purposes, such as new product development and test methods.

8 Handle and follow up other issues related to country standards and regulations in region.

Requirements and/or Advantages

1 Bachelor degree or above in engineering

2 Five years or above experience in R&D, engineering or quality management group with solid technical background in international company

3 Solid experience in product standard and country standard management

4 Excellent communication and presentation skills to deal with internal and external customers

5 Fluency (written and oral) in Chinese and English is a must

6 Proactive, flexible to intensive travel

7 Background in Kitchen and Bath business or construction material business is preferred.
