工作内容:
1.The Challenge
1.1 You will mainly focus on the preparation and execution of Life Cycle Assessments:
1.2 Identify the material, energy and waste flows associated with a product over its entire life cycle based on information provided by the unit
1.3 Determine environmental and/or societal impacts and potential improvements and evaluate their significance
1.4 Find more accurate information, depending on the outcomes of the inventory analysis and impact assessment
1.5 Prepare LCA reporting
1.6 Assist the receiving party in understanding the LCA conclusions and recommendations
1.7 In addition, you will be an advisor regarding LCA and sustainability topics and you will contribute to the development of the LCA competence within DSM.
1.8 You will be working in a team of 5 experts and you will report to the Competence Leader LCA.


2.The Position
2.1 You will have the opportunity to have an impact on DSM’s sustainability mission and vision in a practical way. In this unique position, you will see all operations related to DSM’s different Business Groups, its markets and stakeholders. This also gives you the opportunity to attain a large network of internal and external contacts.
2.2 Sustainability is a key differentiator and driver for DSM and the increasing need for transparency regarding the environmental impact of our activities has created a vacancy within the Team of Life Cycle Assessment within DSM Operations &Responsible Care* for a: Corporate Expert Life Cycle Assessment.
2.3 The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) team operates within DSM Operations & Responsible Care and provides support to Business and Service Groups to determine the environmental footprint of products throughout their life cycle. LCA Experts also advise these groups on the application of LCA results, on general sustainability topics and provide support for policy making in the field of sustainability to Corporate Staff Departments.

3.职位要求:
3.1 Academic education, preferably in chemistry or environmental science
3.2 3 years of experience in technology or in chemical industry
3.3 Responsive to customer needs
3.4 Responsible attitude: prevent “green washing”.
3.5 Self-propelling: able to operate as an independent advisor in a dispersed team.
3.6 Investigative: curious to understand technical and environmental issues.
3.7 Flexibility in a fast-changing environment
3.8 Familiar with working in international projects, in teams of various backgrounds and an affinity for working with different cultures.
3.9 Fluent in English.
