Job Responsibilities:

·Insure the accuracy and integrity of the monthly financials in alignment with local statutory requirements as well as US GAAP - must understand local statutory accounting requirements.This includes working with the US, UK based finance and IT teams to put in place the proper systems/processes to help achieve these requirements.

·Ensure compliance to all local fiscal requirements such as tax returns.

·Responsible for compliance to legal requirements including appropriate business licenses and maintaining up to date registrations and filings

·Meet all headquarters time commitments for completion of monthly and quarterly financial information. Timeliness is critical to meeting our corporate requirements to our US based parent company. We currently operate within a 3 day month end accounting close cycle.

·Manage the complete trial balance for the Operations entities. Accountable to ensure that all the monthly transactions get recorded appropriately and then to close the entire set of books each month with the required accuracy levels and timeframes as outlined by corporate guidelines.Must be capable of managing a full set of accounting ledgers.

·Focus on consistency of our financial processes and business models.

·Work with audit and tax teams on ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements.

·Responsible to ensure that all financial transactions as well as financial accounting and reporting is performed each month. This may require the establishment of special reports as required by our internal customers.

·Participant in ERP implementation team.

·Strong cost accounting experience with manufacturing, plant experience

·Review monthly product line margin, perform financial analysis to ensure accuracy on direct labour, overhead ratio.Understand and explain trend on product line costing.

·Supervision of small team.



Requirements:

o Strong systems knowledge of automated accounting packages (we currently use Syteline) and also strong knowledge of PC based software programs (Excel and Word - the Microsoft Office suite of products).

o Qualified Accountant or currently in a qualified accounting program, close to completion

o College degree - 4 year bachelors degree with an accounting major

o Significant experience (8 years total) in accounting/finance fields, with a minimum of 3 years in cost accounting, manufacturing environment

o Experience working in US or international companies with CPA/CMA certificate.

o Must be fluent English & Mandarin
