Role Purpose
Provide legal support on commercial and corporate matters to enable Dentsu Aegis Network Group to meet its business and growth objectives in China.
Key Accountabilities
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
l Support China General Counsel to develop a legal function that delivers consistent service based on sound legal principles and good business acumen.
l Pro-actively spot and address issues in a rapidly evolving environment, including timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
l Being responsive and take initiative to provide legal thought to influence appropriate actions by the business.
l Advise complex arrangements for certain business units with clients, media owners, vendors and subcontractors; do drafting, manage escalation and approval process.
l Practical applications of legal principles and business acumen to develop solutions for DAN Group to manage and mitigate risks.
l Assist business to understand issues and risks; communicate with and influence different levels of organization.
l Plan and implement communication plan to effectively disseminate policies and good practices, including intellectual property, data usage, and anticorruption.
Personal Specification
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
Qualification:
l Over 8 years of legal work experience, including time at multi-national companies.
l Spoken and written Chinese and English
l Admitted to the PRC Bar.
l Background:
l Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
l Hands-on experience in responding to client’s “request for proposal”, reviewing and drafting agreements, negotiating with clients, procurement departments, vendors and intermediaries.
l Ability to be both strategic and detail oriented.
l Work experience in supporting management / business operations of multinational companies is a plus.
