Job Overview
Design, development, and implement multimedia power testing and power benchmark test cases for all Qualcomm Chipset smart phones. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: a. Take charge of QC chipset based product power testing on audio, video, graphics, and camera area features. b. Design test plan and implement test cases by test scripts. c. Perform chipset and device power testing, do power breakdown, and initial analysis to locate issues position and sync up with developers. d. Perform power benchmark testing, and work with system team for power optimizations with new features. Qualcomm chipset and reference phone power testing on Android platform. - 3+ years of power/coreBSP/multimedia system test experience or R&D test experience on smartphones. - Good knowledge of multimedia features and system architecture is required. - Good analytical and debugging skills are required. - Good communication skills and English oral/written skills are required. - Programming skillset and familiar with python/shell/jaca/csharp is preferred. - Good experience of power, charging/discharging, thermal test is a plus. - Familiar with modem protocol, especially physical layer is a plus.
