REPORTS TO: Mgr, Regional HRIS
SUPERVISES: n/a
CONTACTS: Internally; generally, managers, professional and administrative staff within the HR and IT (GIS) functions
Externally; n/a
Information exchanged can at times be technical and of a sensitive nature that requires discretion and confidentiality. Will occasionally need to negotiate project needs and deadlines.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Supports in Kronos globally but more support requirements will come from Asia (APS and APN regions) in Kronos implementation, enhancement, ongoing support and coming Kronos upgrade project. Provide HRIS support for assigned APS locations, include to assist in implementation and testing of the SAP HR module, programs and processes regionally. Assists with global HRIS Communications and provides support for global HRIS projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Kronos Support: Supports Kronos implementations, enhancement and Kronos upgrade projects on globally basis.

Activities involve evaluating local requirements, working with local management to ensure requirements are addressed, training users, converting data and supporting entities on an ongoing basis. Closely work with GIS and HR for the upgrade project, includes functionalities enhancement, interface program modification, end users training and training manual etc.


2. HRIS System Updates: Supports or leads SAP System implementations at regional entities. Activities involve evaluating local requirements, working with local management to ensure requirements are addressed, training users, converting data and supporting entities on an ongoing basis.

Works closely with regional HRIS team, HR departments and Corporate to provide support on system updates, maintenance. Conducts system testing according to requirements, including writing test plans, managing testing processes, and documenting results.

3. HRIS Projects: Supports MyHR (INFOR) project implementation; by working with the appropriate HRIS team member(s) to train users, convert data, and support the entity on an ongoing basis. This includes providing support on HRIS projects for regional entities. This may include creating process documentation, assisting with test plans, auditing data, etc.

4. Global Payroll Support: Provide support for regional basis not only for China, especially for regional change, such as global wage type, configuration change. Ensure the payroll run in accuracy and per expected. Once the Global Payroll Project starts, support to implement for all APS entities.

5. HRIS Team:
a) Researches best practices and keeps abreast of trends in HRIS development and related business applications to assist business owners in meeting system and process goals.

b) Maintains SAP/MyHR HR documentation for the region and communicates to the regional HR community of any changes.

c) May assist HRIS team member in creating and/or updating training materials, exercises and documentation Conducts new and ongoing training for system users. May accompany or assist HRIS team member in conducting classes for new users or working with users one-on-one or facilitating webinars.

d) Assists with global HRIS communications.

e) Assists in the development and maintenance of system related documentation

f) Provides basic support and/or training to regional HR members.
6. Understand, support and comply with current Molex policies and practices related business programs. Including but not limited to government regulations, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S), Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management (TQM), and Management Systems.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

SCOPE: This position is required to take direction from all levels of the HRIS team and complete task as needed. This position will face very limited level of complexity or/and challenges independently and will need to take direction from Manager or Project lead.
This position works on low impacted projects with entities located in different regions of the globe. Responsible for the success of project, but not resources or costs.

EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: ? Bachelors Degree
PREFERRED: ? Bachelors Degree in a field related to business management, Human Resources or information management

WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: ? 1 - 2+ years in Human Resources information systems
PREFERRED: ? Previous experience working with SAP HR or Kronos

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED: ? Intermediate PC skills (MS Office) and a basic understanding of the fundamentals of HRIS applications.
? Good problem solving and analytical ability.
? Ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals and respond positively to situations.
? Proven self-management skills that demonstrate the ability to complete
? Able to complete assignments in a systematic and timely manner.
