Position Summary:
This position is to support Lubes, Fuels, and PTF technology teams in China which work closely with Sales and Marketing in providing deployment supports to customers in Asia Pacific and also support other Lubes, Fuels and PTF teams around the world. The main role of this position is to support the TSA and Technologist by working in laboratory to provide laboratory-based testing supports and carry out analytical evaluation of test results.

Key Outputs: What we can expect from you
? Assist in performance evaluations by blending fluid samples, preparing, running and post data processing tests on testing facilities and conduct harms testing and support new product commercialization
? Assist in smooth functioning of laboratory by ensuring highest standard of laboratory safety, housekeeping, security, equipment maintenance and accuracy of test data through calibration and statistical quality control, maintaining test records, and preparing test rig related documentation
? Oversee the routine maintenance of test equipment including reference testing and the management of supplies and test parts
? Assist in diagnosing operational problems of testing facilities, implementing remedial action and proposing areas for procedural or hardware improvement
? Manage the inventory of lubricant and fuel samples
? Collate and document test results and other information in the formats needed for product performance representation
? Support TSA and Technologist in execution of technology deployment programs and customer-interface work
? Participate in project/activity teams, presentation of results and conclusions of the work as required
? Any additional responsibilities as assigned

A successful candidate is likely to have:
? Experience of working with minimal supervision in a test laboratory environment together with a high awareness of the associated Health, Safety and Environmental practices
? A science/engineering degree with laboratory experience and an interest in the practical application of mechanical/electrical equipment in lubricant industry
? Ability to work independently as part of a team with good communication, time-management and personal organization skills, with general guidance from a supervisor
? High mechanical aptitude with a good eye for detail, and strong hands on experience with a can do attitude
? Experience with computer controlled mechanical systems, and variable-frequency drive, pneumatic, hydraulics, and thermal systems
? Knowledge of laboratory test methodologies, test instrumentation and measurement systems, data acquisition systems, and data processing
? Capability to accurately manage test results and technical information, manipulate data and maintain comprehensive records
? Problem-solving tenacity and customer-focused orientation
? Good English level in reading, writing and speaking
? Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint 举报 分享
