PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



*Design and development of IO Solutions for use in EMC Systems

*Develop technical project requirements, including cost, performance, reliability, and quality

*Collaborate with a global hardware development team to facilitate product integration, delivery, and support

*Track and resolve technical issues and requests for information

*Participate and lead cross-functional design reviews

*Lead physical design of board level Hardware through all design phases

*Support manufacturing qualification process to ensure delivery of a high quality product.

*Additional duties may include research, evaluation, development, and application of new IO technology, processes, and design methods


REQUIRED SKILLS


*Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following IO Protocols: Ethernet,iSCSI, Fibre channel, FCoE, or SAS.

*Prior experience in the design, debug, and qualification of board level hardware

*Able to take initiative, strong sense of urgency and teamwork

*Ability to learn technical concepts and material quickly and independently

*Ability to work as part of a Global design and development team,

*Strong interpersonal and Communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English and Chinese

*High speed design experience (> 1Gbs)

*Direct experience with IA architecture, chipsets, and PCIe is a plus

*Knowledge of server and storage systems, particularly RAID systems, is a plus

*Experience with Driver interaction and integration with various Operating Systems (Win2K8, Linux, and VMWare) a plus


Education Required: BSEE or equivalent.


Experience Required: 3 - 5 years.
