We are looking for a passionate and brilliant individual to join our dynamic world-class team to work on the Next Generation Enterprise Content Management/Enterprise Serach. The candidate should have strong programming skills or enterprise software expertise and excellent customer facing experience. The candidate will play an important role in IIG China engineering team.

Associated Principle QA Engineer (APE) will serve as primary technical point of contact of product assurance team, and mediate software defects and regression exercises with development. This position is an integration role requiring close working relationships with a variety of distributed engineering teams. Candidate will work as testing expert within a team of software quality assurance and performance engineers. Candidate will drive the testing strategy of projects across a variety of environments encompassing the latest “Enterprise Search” technology. You will participate in test case design, and execution for particularly challenging projects.

Job Responsibilities

* Fully competent in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a test environment, including necessary equipment, configuration, and software. Demonstrated skill with developing appropriate test methodologies.
Fully competent in the use of necessary tools and applications.
* Develops new test methodologies or processes, re-evaluate existing processes. Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
* Responsible for providing requirements and specifications for the automation of test cases. Accountable for delivery of subsystem, anticipate issues and addresses proactively.
* Provide solutions for wide range of complex problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions, under only limited direction.
* Knowledge and wide application of engineering principles, theories, and concepts, and working knowledge of other related fields.
* Directly supervises Jr. QA engineers and vendor engineers including the preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations.
* Provides strategic inputs to the product roadmaps from quality assurance perspective
* General understanding of business environment

Qualifications

* Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
* 6+ years of Software QA experience, include some experience in a lead role or management position
* Ability to effectively work with and lead a team and to influence others
* Comfortable working in a highly distributed international environment
* Excellent Java/C/C++ programming skills, strong scripting language skills
* Strong problem solving skills
* Strong technical leadership ability and experience
* Expert knowledge of Operating Systems, High Availability, and/or Web Service technology
* A broad knowledge of Linux, Windows, and/or UNIX Operating System technology
* Experience developing one or more of the following: Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Web Service based * * Enterprise Class Software
* Experience working with one or more of the following: Content Management System, Distributed Systems, High Availability * * * * Systems, Clustering, Operating Systems.
* Experience utilizing contemporary software engineering principles

Desired Skills

* Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, are required for interaction with team members, senior members of the staff and other organizations
* Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
* Highly motivated, detail oriented, creative, and attracted to a challenging opportunity
