University degree holder
Knowledge in the operation of business software (Microsoft Office)
Excellent administrative skills (attention to details)
Strong ability to practice and maintain high-level of confidentiality
Proficiency in email, internet, social media/communication programs
Fluency in written and spoken English
Minimum of five to seven years of experience as HR and Administrative specialist in the trading or import/export industry
Comfortable and flexible with fast-paced environment
Ability to perform variety of tasks
Good interpersonal skills and ability to confidently communicate on all levels with senior management and general staff members both orally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Role and Responsibilities - HR
Assists all departments in sourcing employee candidates and hiring procedures
Prepares and signs contract with employee
Conducts employee orientations to apprise them of admin processes and matters pertaining to benefits and policies
Assists accounting in calculating leaves, salary, social insurance, housing fund and deductions
Handles employee resignation process
Assists department managers in resolving issues with staff
Coordinates with company lawyer regarding legal issues concerning labor laws
Assists in scheduling and handling employee events
Maintains records, files and database of personnel, actions, evaluations, licensure, and tenure
Researches information required including reviews of relevant policies and current practices
Communicates with other employees, departments, managers for purpose of updating them on personnel movements, legal issues and other pertinent information
Interprets official materials, documents (employment records, regulations) to ensure compliance with legal requirements
Reviews and updates of employee handbook on a regular basis
Assists the General Manager or HR Director/Manager in ensuring that personnel functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements
Works with concerned government agencies (Labor, PSB) on various issues like visas, work permits, invitations, etc.
Supports the General Manager for the purpose of assisting in the performance of their work activities
