Headquartered in Livonia, United States, we offer innovative testing technologies and solutions to automotive industry, engine manufacturers and emerging hybrid and fuel-cell industries, as well as in-house dynamometer testing.

Position Available

Full Time Systems Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

Analysis customer request and feasibility
Obtain necessary information to clarify opportunities (engineering information,boundary conditions, and budget limitations.)
Corrective and preventive maintenance, customer support

Monitor customer satisfaction.
Provide guidance and training for dyno system installation, test bed setup.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in EE, ME, familiar with engine & vehicle testing is a plus.
LABVIEW programming experience is a plus
CAD Experience

Experience with Microsoft Office Software
General knowledge of shop procedures and tool usage

Ability to work with other technicians, engineers, and customers
Ability to communicate technical information both verbal and written
At least three (3) years experience in electric motor systems or dynamometer industry

Training Included

Specialized metering and calibration instrumentation usage

Rotating component vibration analysis and balancing

Electricdrive and motor basics – system tuning and programming
Electric dynamometer and drive maintenance

Responsibilities Include(but not limited too)

Control System programming and interfacing

On site dynamometer system maintenance and service
System instrumentation calibration
Writing up of system calibration documentation
Design and build assistance on dynamometer systems
Electrical and mechanical print development and review
System wiring and mechanical buildups
Test cell operation
